The gift of giving love by the hands

I have always loved getting massages. The power of the careful, firm touch makes me feel inside my body. Consciously recognize the limits, inhabit this sacred space. A form of care, of therapy.

It makes the energies flow, clearing what is stagnant. It gives a feeling of comfort, security to relax deeply and surrender. be taken care of.

In the penultimate article I published here, I talked about the three tools I've been using to go deeper inside myself and work on self-love, compassion and awareness of the divine within me, within each one. And, in this article, I forgot to mention massage therapy. That's the fourth tool!

And, in fact, I will say that the value I gave to receive a massage increased even more when I started working and giving massages. And this donation work has been very enriching. Being it another way to serve, help and donate everything I mentioned above that I feel when I receive a good massage.

It's great to receive, but even better is to give. So the cycle is complete. And caring for the other gives a revealing sense of well-being. When a client leaves the massage relaxed and grateful, they feel cared for with respect. And I feel that the most important thing and what makes a difference in this work is for me to be present, as in a meditation. In fact, for me, giving massage is the opportunity to meditate for another hour in my day. I take the opportunity to keep the mind present, along with the observation of breathing and conscious, both of my body and the body of the other.

A wedding! During the session, the bodies unite in a way that, when attentive, I can feel whether the massage should be stronger or softer, observing the breathing of the person receiving it. Another part of the practice is to keep the mind equanimous in the face of pain, locks in the other's body. It's in the exercise of breathing, doing the best I can and being present without getting stuck in some pain, sensation or block, thinking I need to solve everything.

I do the best I can and I always thank you. At this point, I develop a lot of gratitude for those who are willing and surrendering for this moment, providing me with learning and growth, both as a therapist and as a person. In addition to establishing a connection with intuition and the divine that exists within each person.

β€œFor me, massage therapy proved to be another healing instrument! Both in receiving, learning about surrender and letting myself be cared for and welcomed, as well as in giving, which is working towards a greater something that guides me and ends up healing the therapist and the client.”
