Shallow waters… that's where the danger lurks!

During our journey, we come across difficult, complicated, problematic moments that require a lot of focus, preparation and extra dedication. We usually say that: there in the fuuuundo we fight internal battles… Deep down, really.

But what about when the danger is not there at the bottom, where you insist on not reaching?

And when you need to solve daily problems or those that are in the shallows?

The film Shallow waters, with its original title The Shallows, tells the story of a Texan girl who after losing her mother and seeing part of her world fall apart, decides to drop everything, medical school, family and go in search of herself. To take a break, she chooses a paradise beach on the Mexican outskirts. Sun, beach, heat, a surfboard and a backpack containing 'everything' she could need such as sunglasses, fruits, sunscreen, water, cell phone and her yearning to explore those turquoise waters that give her the of fresh start. Suddenly, our heroine is attacked by a shark and bravely resists the attack, swimming to a reef and, thanks to intelligence and wit, in this case of the film's director, there she remains for the almost 160 minutes of the film's duration!

There in the 'shallow' she spots a tourist and asks him for help, but it's not possible. Further on, two surfers come to her rescue, but are mortally attacked by the antagonist. Until she begins the journey towards her salvation. In a mixture of courage and survival instinct, she no longer thinks about whether things will work out or not, she simply decides to fight, to persevere. And that’s also the case in real life, my dear ones: we fight, we rest, we persevere, we get tired and then we move on, even if hurt, disappointed, doubting tomorrow… Uncertain and surprising.

Tired of battle is not surrender. It is also gathering strength while recognizing the limits. Knowing your position and how much you can risk is also smart, especially if you have the firm intention of not giving up. A calm mind thinks better, calculates risks better and does not give up at the first obstacle, because it has already detected flaws along the way and its obstacles until the consecration of success.

And you, dear, from the shallows? Are things difficult? What are your plans to overcome this moment?
