    Semana 36 – Behaalotechá

    Numbers 8:1-12:16

    136 verses

After raising the Tabernacle, the Eternal gives instructions on lighting the lamps in the candelabrum.

“When you light the lamps, the seven lamps will light the space in front of the lampstand.” (Numbers 8:2).

We must keep our inner flame burning. Every day needs Light. The guiding flame is the Torah that continually instructs and nourishes our souls.

“And the people complained of bad luck in the ears of the Eternal.” (Numbers 11:1).

After being freed from slavery in Egypt and having witnessed the miracle of the parting of the Red Sea, the people began to complain.

Complaining and murmuring are a negative tendency of the human being. Even when we are extremely favored, we do not appreciate it. We don't recognize the miracles that happen in our lives on a daily basis. Dissatisfaction is almost a predominance in negative minds.

Let's not let ourselves be contaminated by negativity! Muttering and complaining without cause bring us misfortunes. Rejoice and recognize the Eternal in your life, today and always!
